About the Afloat Pack for Snow Leopard.
Afloat Pack for Snow Leopard is a re-release of Afloat tailored to work on Snow Leopard. It uses the SIMBL extender injector alpha version for Snow Leopard rather than PlugSuit, and will remove PlugSuit if installed on the system.
This pack can only be installed on a computer running Mac OS X 10.6 or later (“Snow Leopard”). If run on a previous version of Mac OS X, the installer will instead let you download the correct version for your system.
This pack also fixes the problem described in the PlugSuit 1.5: Removing safely under Snow Leopard article. If you experience that problem, installing Afloat with this installer will also fix the repeated password prompts and remove PlugSuit completely from your system. This pack will remove the System Preferences PlugSuit panel. This is normal and does not stop Afloat from working.
Please note: The current version of the Afloat installer for Mac OS X 10.6 does not include an uninstaller. To uninstall, please see the Uninstalling the Afloat Pack for Snow Leopard article.
