Afloat is a small system extension that puts new commands in the Window of most Mac applications. It allows you to:

• Keep windows afloat over all others, make them transparent or even insensible to clicks, so that they become always-available overlays over your work;
• Drag a window from any point in the window;
• And more!

Afloat 2.0 is free to download; it's also open source, so you can find out how it does what it does, and comes with the simple and powerful PlugSuit manager and loader for system plug-ins (also open source).
